For those of you in love with vintage and looking for that special piece to add to your wardrobe, I recommend the East London Vintage Fair! The event takes place at the Clapton Round Chapel: a real queen of Hackney.

Interestingly, it was the first place I lived in London, Clapton. I still see this area as my home. I love it and I used to see the Round Chapel every day. I finally had the chance to walk in a  couple of weeks ago, visiting the East London Vintage Fair and I really enjoyed it!

First of all, the music was fantastic. It made the atmosphere very special and it was actually coming from a vinyl’s stall. Secondly, I was attracted by the architecture of the Chapel, the wooden flooring, the arches and the simplicity of the structure really surprised me! With rails of vintage clothes and accessories spread all around in this interesting setting.

I’m not a real expert of vintage but in this place, believe me, I could sense the passion and meticulous research conducted by the stalls’ owners. I was particularly attracted to some suede jackets on sale, dresses and skirts too by a beautiful black kimono duster and a table full of denim jeans. I fell in love with so many garments there, regretting having spent all my monthly budget in some high street brands stores! Oh well.

Fortunately for you and I, these guys will be at The Clapton Round Chapel again on the 9th of August and 13th of September 2015. I’m really looking forward to it and so should you!
